DRY EYE CLINIC
Our technology and expertise in practice can assess both lipid deficient and evaporative dry eye conditions. Whilst the use of lubricating and artificial drops will certainly provide relief from symptoms we very much believe in managing the root of the discomfort.
We offer a comprehensive assessment and treatment plan for dry eye conditions using our lacrydiag and Lipiview technology to assess the tear film quality, Meibomian gland function, blink ability and health of the eyelids and lashes.
Our specialist Optometrists will be able to provide recommendations for treatment specific to your individual condition.
ASSESSMENTS FOR DRY AMD TREATMENT
We are very proud of our investment in Valeda light delivery system by Lumithera. This is the first approved treatment for Dry Age related macula degeneration using photobiomodulation.
Without treatment Dry age-related Macular degeneration can progress as you age, leading to vision loss. Studies have shown that Valeda can improve visual outcomes. In the ageing eye, cells may become sick leading to loss of function and cell death. Valeda works by stimulating energy production within the cells of the eye and improves their ability to perform their roles. Healthy cells are essential for good eye health.
